Band Photography

I'm amazed that I still see the "band on railroad tracks" photos and other ridiculous clichés that some modern bands feel portrays their image. What image is that exactly? It's my belief that a lot of musicians don't ask for more than that because they don't know how much better it could be. Simply put, band photography is an artform in itself. Portraying the sound and feel of a band or musician's music in clean images takes a lot of thought and listening to the music itself.

You'll notice that my images below don't stick to one style, like many other photographers' will. You know why? You guessed it. Because the bands aren't all the same. And none of them feel at home on train tracks.
